Abstract

With the development of the surface properties of implants in dentistry and the improvement of digital systems, new techniques have been developed by stepping further away from conventional methods. In the traditional treatment protocol, the expected time for osteointegration of implants was 3-6 months, whereas today, both implantation and prosthesis loading can be performed on the same day.

In these case presentations, it was decided to extract the patients teeth that did not function properly both aesthetically and functionally and to treat them with temporary screw bridges the next day. After tooth extractions, digital impressions were taken from the patients and the data were sent to the laboratory. The next day, temporary screwable PMMA-based bridges were placed over the implants. Immediat loading procedure has many advantages such as comfort and shortening the treatment time in the presence of suitable patients.
